Went for a scout on Friday and Sat for reds,Friday set up camp then gave a roar , within a couple of minutes we had 5 stages replying in various levels from a moan to full on roar.Satarday morning we had 2 stags roaring and zoned in on 1,my mate roared and hine called while i stalked got to seventy yards had a good look at him very even double 4, got busted, must have heard me.Any way things are looking good for easter camp set up all ready to go.Any one else hunting reds at the moment.
I'm not hunting the reds this Easter, first year I haven't hunted the roar for a long time, good luck frogman...Glenn...
Good Friday today, havn't heard anything yet. Can always hear them from the house when they kick off. Last few nights have been cooler so they should start soon.

out to my hunting block tomorow for 5 days of hunting reds, cant wait.Plenty of stags roaring at night at the moment and very early morning.I will have to keep an eye out as a certainTBHGA admin member is hunting across the road(adam)should catch up in a day or two, anyway hopefully something to report when i get back. :P
i havnt heard anything from them down my way yet :( shouldnt be long though
Yeah I'm huntin' Reds, but not in NSW, sick of being controlled & bullied in everything we do by people who make decisions without any idea of the real world & then tell us it's for our own good. Out of principle I won't pay a licence fee to the Game Council gestapo to take deer on private land just so they can be important in their own minds.
