CAM BUSHES

G'day all, I have a Darton Vapor 60" and the cam bushes are buggered ( I bought the bow off the classifieds here and wasnt told this of course) does anyone know where to get them???:(

Not doubting you pappas, but what makes you think the bushing is/are kaput? Please describe the problem you are having with them. For example, with the string and cable removed, did you detect play in the cam?

Yeah mate, with the string off there is a fair bit of slop in the bushes, side to side.

Most archery shops carry generic bushes, I keep a couple spare in my emergency kit. Ring one of them and they should help you out, they should only cost a couple of bucks. Also if the slop is side to side it may be shims you need as well as bushes, shims are like little plastic flat washers that have the same ID as the bush and fit on the shaft between the cam and the riser, but not all bows are the same so I would take it to a shop if possible.
