Mozza

I decided to head out to a property on friday to see if I could chase some goats around, I arrived early in the morning and there was a little bit of rain around, which wasn't good seeing as there are some steep cliffs around the property and the rocks were all getting slippery.
I found a mob of about 20 goats and put a stalk in on a nice billy, but the mob moved arond one of the cliffs and I couldn't follow them so I got a picture of the last couple heading around the corner.

I went further around and heard another mob moving though the timber below me, I stalked in to about 10 meters of the first nannies and waited until a billy at the back filed past me, drew the bow and sent a blackstump sailing through his shoulders and putting him down in 5 meters, I ran a tape across him and his spread went 34 1/2 inches, my best so far:D

A little later in the afternoon I found a mob of goats that had a feral sheep in with them. Me and my mate who hunt this property have been trying to get the sheep for 3 years now, and we both agreed we wouldn't shoot her with the compounds, to add a bit more challenge to it.
I stalked in to 10 meters and slipped an arrow in quartering away and she spun around and charged straight at me:o I stepped out of the way and put another arrow on the string, and then she turned and charged me again, however this time she copped an arrow for her trouble and went down quickly:)
I had real trouble moving her for the photo and her wool was one big carpet of burrs, but I was pretty happy to finally take her:D
