Archery fishing was already a practice several thousand years earlier and was usually done by the ancient Egyptians by using long arrows and shooting it to the fishes. They do archery fishing as a means of acquiring food. Today, archery fishing is widely done as a sport by hunting enthusiasts, targeting not only fishes but even other aquatic creatures like alligators.
