Now i have had a Whisker Bicky for a while now but i see there are a few ???? about some rests at the monet so i thought i would give my view on why i have changed from the biscuit.
First the things i really liked about the W/B was that i could put a shaft on & go in for the stalk & not worry about the shaft falling off. It was easy to set-up & a god price for a new state of the art rest. The main reason i have turned from the W/B is that my grouping has not been as good as it was in the past since changing over to the W/B. So out of trial i went back to the good old quicktune 1000 for a look to see what was happening. Well my groups were straight away 100% better than they have been for the past since getting the W/B. So i tried something else completly different again & have gone to a drop away style rest to see what the results of it are. So i got a DMI expert drop away & i was amazed at the change in my shooting. My grouping all the way out to 50 yards have been well around the 4" grouping. So to say the least i am one happy chappy with that.
I also have found something that might be of interest to the W/B shooters out there. I was amazed when i seen it.

So it makes you consider the consistency of the arrow when it is moving this much out of the rest.

P.S This is not a dig at those who use the rest, i just found it funny why my shooting had gone done hill. So i was trying to rectify what was going on.

Out to 50 yards I did not see any accuracy difference between my W/B and Mathews drop away.
This isnt a dig at you Jason it is just my experiance...

I believe the WB is a great rest for hunting but not so good for target shooting. My groups at 50m with the WB where ok but not great. I have changed to a drop away rest and now my groups (5 Arrows) are much tighter averaging 15cm. I would suggest use what works for you.

If that was true wouldn't you never use one again as i feel accuracy for hunting is way more important than target.. i personally had no problem with my WB but each to their own..
Not having a shot spud but hunting equipment should be more accurate than any taget bow as you cannot gut shoot a target

Jason I have not since and will never again use a WB. But that is my choice.

Short rant: Perhaps due to the numerous, immeasurable dynamics concerning every individual archer, we cannot make definite statements in regard to equipment. Maybe the best we can do is form unfounded generalisations based on personal opinion from experience, heresay, etc. If an archer were to develop *reliable tests for a piece of equipment and report those results, we could then discuss the findings using a common set of criteria.
*reliable = able to be replicated by any other person / exactly the same results are able to be obtained any number of times / over any length of time.
But all the above takes the fun out of a discussion forum!

Ant,
You have seen in person how deadly the W/B is at 43 meters:eek:
Just as I have seen how deadly your drop away is at 30 meters...
