I openly admit , That love buying bows as much as shooting them. I have developed an affection for Bows built by Ron Fox , the original owner of Fox archery .I currently own 2 Ron Fox bows ,but It has taken me a couple of years to get my hands on the High Sierra 3 piece T/D recurve that was missing from my collection.
Now the wait is over and I will have one soon . I have no pics but as soon as I have the bow I will post pics.
I just had to share the Joy.
Ha Clint you said it was going to be a surprise for everyone at the meet on the 2nd of feb. You just could'nt help yourself could ya . Cannot wait to see what all the fuss is about :D.

Good for you, Clint! All those Fox bows look a real treat, and every so often I struggle with the temptation to get one, and will probably give-in someday. Happy hunting!

It's a sickness Clint. You can only shoot one bow at a time you know.
(say's he, who owns 10 trad bows at the moment)

It is true Mick , they can only be shot one at a time. But I will build a rack that allows me just to look at them all at once and remember all the joy they bring me.

It won't happen mate, he has the sickness , I've seen it in his eyes.
Not many can withstand it's power.
The full story of this bow will come out once I get it, but let's just say that I owe someone a favour for this one.

The Fox Hi Sierra has arrived and become the 3rd member of the Fox family in my stable. This bow has been waiting for me to buy it for a few years now and I am fortuneate that it was still there. It had a small twist in the bottom limb but Glenn Newell worked on it before it was shipped and he has done an awesome job. It is a fast shooting recurve with the stats of 50#@28 and being 58inches long it will be a joy in the bush.
I haven't had much time to play with it yet but it will get a good workout on Sat at the Shoot. I now only need a Fox Maverick (1 pce Recurve) and the collection will be complete. The next thing is to get out in the hills and take some game with them.

Special thanks to Glenn Newell for his help.
Clinton here is a photo of Ron in his shop. I took the photo in 1994 when I called in on him. I am sure your bow is on the right rack and the third one down behind Ron....Glenn...
