Gday all i have been waiting to get out for a hunt with a lad by the name of ben honeke (spell)LOL but any way last weekend was the date so at about 8:30 i was at his place and the hunt began he also ended up bringeing a freind along by the name of jason but any way back to it we got to the top of the first hill we glass of and we found a few goats there so jason stepped up and setlled his first pin for a 7 meter shot i didnt see it as there was a rock in the way but i heard that thud so i knew it was good the goat ran about 30 meters and passed out so we went over there and had a photo sesion and it was his first goat for his new drenallin.http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z69/chabels/2008_0120carpvideos0002.jpgSo we continued on ben was next up for a shot we heard a few goats about 100 meters away so we put in a stalk and got to about 30m's but they new something was up and moved of 100m's further we came across a small billy and a nanny so ben put in a stalk and had a 10 meter front on shot on the small billy wich put him down in a further 10m's a couple of pics. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z69/chabels/2008_0120carpvideos0004.jpg we were of again for 10m's and heard the nanny bleating so me and ben done a series of bleat call's and had the nanny come 25 meters of me so i put my 20 pin a touch high and sent a supreme go behind its shoulder i went up to find her and found an awsome blood trail and follow'd it for 200meters and the nanny was no where to be found!!!!!But other than that we had a good day..The following day seen me sitting 50 meters of a 110dp billy for about 3 hours and just as i was about to take a shot something spooked him and he made a run for it!!!!..he was one of the good goats in the mob but there was a couple of goats ben had been after for some time now and we think they would go 125 dp's plus!!!!
