View Full Version : Diamond Marquis/ Gecko Archery
Couldn't be happier with Gecko Archery or the Marquis from Diamond archery.
Fast smooth and quiet to shoot, deadly accurate and prirty.
Service from Gecko was spot on and no bull****e on sales and gear.

Very nice rig there and I like the old school look of the 8 arrow quiver. Be great for those backpack trips where you might get a heap of opportunities and you only wished you had more than the standard 5 arrows. How does it shoot mate? Looks the goods.
Head shooting connies Ant and can bust a hare or other small game out to 50 meters if need be. I will be purchasing a 5 arrow quiver for big game hunting but the 8 arrow is great for small game and yeah backpack trips.

She's a sexy looking bit of kit there Adam. Single cams are a treat to tune, ay. And I see it doesn't ask for a stabiliser- sweet.

Adam.
They sure are sweet bows.
I got mine back in November but they shipped it with 50lb limbs, with the trip back home for Chrissy and that I have only just got the 60lb limbs for mine got it all set up today and done some shooting.
61lb 28" draw 490gr arrow 246fps through the crono.
Then tried one of my old 3d arrows @322gr's at 296fps.
No hand shock, vibe and deadly silent heck I dont even have a stabilizer on mine it just sits dead in the hand after the shot.

Nice bow, Adam.
Been seriously considering a Marquis myself as the next tech bow.

Looks good Adam all set up. For all those considering a new bow the Diamond Marquis and Black Ice are excellent value. Smooth to draw and shoot, great grip and so far are my pick of the year for a hunting bow. Close second would be the Elite Aigil and Mathews S2.

Thats a great looking bow Adam what is the draw like? If you are looking for a stabiliser I highly recommend the Bowtech Wild Thing it looks funny but really works well.:P
Very smooth draw Rin no peaks over the whole draw. I think a stabilizer would only add weight with no advantage, bows very quiet and sits well.

Tsk tsk Jason, you should know the Diamond Marquis is just an X Force with manners :P
Might take a buck early with the compound, been after a 240dp fella for awhile so hoping to see him with the Marquis, then spend the rest of the rut and after rut with the recurve or longbow.
