dont you just hate it...
wile i was up at my holiday property i saw numerous hares up close but no bow
but to make things worse i went for several bike rides along the dirt road were the property is that i hunt fallow deer i rode my bike up there twice in 2 days seeing lots of bunnys i decided to go once more on the 3rd day hoping to catch a deer out grazing it was about 7.30pm and i was on my way up the dirt road just dreaming away when i spotted a wjite colour STAG it pulled me up bloody quick, to see a bloody monster fallow stag in velvet staring at me know more then 45 m away i just stared at him and grunted at him he stood around for about 2mins man this bugger is askin to be shot i made afew other noises and he soon had anough and bunced off about 50m into light tee tree in an old creek bed i got back on the bike and rode another 50m and went ohh there he is and then i relised ohh its a different deer this one was in early velvet and once again at 45m he stood there and looked at me with a dumb look on his face ears scanning like radars he had thick coronets with about 4 inchs of solid velvet stumps poking up he is gonna be another nice one he soon spooked after a stair off and that was that no camera or bow only had my mobile and tryed to take a pic but you cant make it out
ohh well its getting me pumped for april were i will do my first rut hunt
