Yep, bit of a wank of a title, the 'no talkin' bit is related to the fact that I was scouting a deer property for the comming year, my eye's have red rings round em from the bino's being pressed firm for much of my weekend, lol ;)
Anyhow, smoked another hare, 25m and down in 5m from the old Muzzy/XForce combo, then had a couple of hours glassing when I spotted a red shape in the long grass 120m infront of me.
'Ah, another bloody red wallaby', I move on, looking back from 100m or so, only to notice thin pointy ears and a four legged pup made it's way to a hidey hole...
Arrow nocked, (was going to film the little bugger, but a killin' I decided on ;) ) and I went into sneak mode, or as best a 6'2+" bloke can do ;)
Little foxy comes over for a sniff, the flies harrass his face, and he looks up at a dirty faced object that dares not blink. He moves behind a tree, the tall object moves it's upper limbs and steadys for some reason...
The corner of my eye catches movement 25m to the right and I swing the bow around to aim, the small young fox scurries off knowing his mate's in trouble.
