Num 11#

me and my cousin (cougerking) went out hunting last night to see what we could get, once we arrived it was obvious that we got there to early and the few rabbits left wernt out yet... after walking around for a while i spotted one little rabbit outside his burrow but he quickly jumped in. i quickly walked up and set myself up next to the closest prickle bush about 5m away... setting up the video camera and started waiting....

about 10-15 minutes in the video camera went on standby.... bugga...

after about another 10-15 minutes i was about to give up when the little rabbit hopped out of his hole still mostly covered by the bushes. i very slowly drew back the bow top pin on his chest and smashed the trigger resulting in a shocking shot... the rabbit was making a break for his burrow but luckily enough my arrow was catching on the bushes i ran over and finished him off... from a distance of 4m i was pretty pissed off by my shooting as it had been a gut shot right through his bow spilling crap everywhere...

i took him home to skin and clean but he was a bloddy mess so i just took his skull to try and boil it... anyway heres the pics...

atleast until I find a new hunting spot most of my hunting will be done by waiting them out because thats the only thing that seems to work at the moment...

Congrats on the bunny, well done. I am always cautious on how I do a write up on the game I have taken and what words can be left out of a sentence or re-phrased. Hope this helps......Howie

FOR EXAMPLE, My arrow penetrated the rabbits lower ribs or pauch and was quickly recovered.... is there any reason to put other words in there? Howie
