Who's going to the Grange Bowmen this sunday the 10th of February for a trad shoot . IT'S NOT AN OFFICIAL ABA SHOOT so its not advertised . Kicks off around 8.30 / 9.00 .

The winner on the day gets a certificate and there name on a shield . The grand Traditional champ is decided at the club championship .

As I understand it there is 7 of these trad shoots this year at the Grange and they will be mostly held in conjuction with there monthly club shoots . 2 of them will be held on the day of the Huntingdale shoot that was first run in the early 60's and also on the **** Coates memorial longbow shoot

see everyone there . regards Perry

Heya,

I went out there yesterday afternoon to have a look. (Never been there before).

Can a non-ABA member shoot under a visitor's pass or something ?

How long will this shoot today last ? (Got plans which don't wanna miss)

Cheers
Wayne

Sorry I missed you questions yesterday Drifty . I'm not a member of the Grange as I have moved away but I was for many years so I keep in touch with what they are doing .

No problems with missing this one as the next Stick and String shoot is on the 13th of april . They are calling it a breakfast shoot with tucker on from 6.00 am . They will also be playing with the format a bit and using the Ifaa photo real hunter round targets [ best paper targets I,ve seen ] . Cost will be $5.00 .

Being an ABA club , ABA will not allow non members to shoot usually [wish Grange would wake up to themselves and either get rid of there affiliation with them and take out there own insurance policy or at least affiliate with 3DAAA as well who at least allow day passes . BUT THEY DO HAVE A PROBATIONARY MEMBERSHIP THAT GIVES YOU 3 MONTHS OF SHOOTING AT THE GRANGE WITHOUT THE NEED TO JOIN ABA FOR $10.00 . Any more info PM me . regards Perry
