went on my normal afternoon hunt, except this time it was raining. didn't expect to see any bunnies in my usual spots. boy was i surprised.

i stalked in on my neighbours shed where i see roughly 10 to 15 rabbits daily. in case you were wondering i do have permission. due to the rain i got in closer than usual and watched the rabbits for a while. i spotted two large ones in the door of the shed looking straight out at me. i was hidden amongst the trees and after a quick glance they went back to eating.

waiting patiently i couldn't believe my luck when one of the big ones came hopping towards me. he hopped to 10 metres where i drew back, put the pin on his chest and let loose. the arrow went straight through him with him doing a backflip afterwards. i was a bit shocked to have hit my first rabbit so i didn't act fast enough and he hobbled away to the garden near our kitchen about 20 metres. after a short search in the pouring rain i gave up as i figured i'll smell him in a few days anyway.

was really stoked at hitting my first rabbit and hopefully the rest will follow. also after some foxes and will keep u posted on the results. sorry that there are no pics wish i could have got some.

hey silent killer,
would not have a clue. i don't know how to calculate it and now i only have the horns by themselves. he had a fair good set on him though i was stoked. if u told me how too work it out i'd gladly do it cos i'm curios too.
thanks heaps
michael

Persistance champ, you will get one soon. What type of heads are you using on the bunnies?

hey howie,
i tried a washer behind a field point cos i don't want to shoot my broadheads into the dirt all the time as they'r replacable 3 bladers and very hard to sharpen. was thinking of adder points or somethin like woodstoka's pups as they look like a great invention. i'll hopefully not get so stunned next time i hit one and act faster. oh well sometimes they get away.
cheers mate
