Hi all

I would like to shear some good advice with you all.

Yesterday I was shooting groups about 12 -15in at 10meters, NOT THAT GOOD. At 4meters my groups where in 8in, 7meters 10in and 10meters out to 15in. Today I remembered someone talking about shooting close to your target and slowly moving back, well this works. I shot 6 arrows at 4mall in 6in groups, moved back and shot 3 at 4m and 3 at 7m again all in 6in group. Than shot 2 at 4m

sounds like I'll have to clear my shed out and get cracking - wish my yard went out to 30m :)

awsome mate - always good when you discover those little tricks/techniques that help you shoot better and have more fun - good on ya.
ps: love that pic with the arrow in mid-flight - very cool. :D

Chris you should try the method that Axe told me about.

At night have a small light shining on the target (preferably a small beam concerntrated on one spot of the target) and shoot at that spot.
I tried this out to 20m (thats as long as I can shoot at home) and boy did it improve my instinctive shooting.

The other way is again in the dark, have a candle sitting in front of the target and try to shoot out the flame with out hitting the candle.

Good luck with it.

Hi all

I am lovung this trad stuff at the moment. This is the first 6 arrows i shot today
1 from 4m, 2 from 7m, and 3 from 10m.
This sort of shooting ie start close and move away is working for me, so I am happy
