I just read on Ozbow.net that this wonderful story that we've been able to read a good-sized snippet of is to be published and up for sale later this year, in November. It's the story of "The Doorway Buck", by CM Sackett, and even though I'm more used to hunting camels and donkeys, and I wouldn't know the front-end of a deer from the back-end, I have really enjoyed this inspirational tale thus far. If you get a chance, check it out on the link below at Ozbow.net, and I'm sure you'll have difficulty putting your computer down (well, it's hard to put a good book down). There's a good amount of bow-and-arrow action, but the true magic lies in its tale of a boy with a rough homelife being mentored by a weather-beaten old bowhunter, a legendary old bowhunter. This'll really go well on the bowhunting shelf, and I'll be sure to get a copy for mates and family too. Cheers, Ben
