I headed to the upper hunter for an afternoon pig hunt on Saturday. We saw a few sows with young and a couple of half decent Boars but I wasn’t able to put it together and apart from a Bunny I arrowed in the headlights on the way out of the property I returned home empty handed, and very frustrated.
Sunday arvo I was still seething over the missed opportunities so I headed out to my Hare spot to exact some revenge.
It didn’t take long until we found our target. She was feeding on the lawn out the front of the house. Using a water tank as cover I edged out from behind the tank at full draw and let her have it at 15m. She ran 5m or so and toppled over.
AHHH, that should see me through to the next hunt.
Is there a rehab for this sort of thing?:P

Too right, Id rather get bogged out bush and spend all day getting out, than go to work. ;)
Bit harsh on the hare/hair though howie, 'The Recession' has hit me too. So I wont even go there. lol

I can say that cause I am as bald as a well used tennis ball, just a bit of fluff around the edges.

Good work mate I love seeing Hares get busted! They are snakes of animals! I saw one jump 1.5 meters up a bank once in New Zealand to get away from the shotgun. It looked like something out of the matrix, it was in the air for ages!

Jase.

What, are you like a reformed smoker or something Howie?
"I used to have thick wavy hair but look at me now" you to can learn to live without it.

That’s it I’m shaving what’s left of my MISERABLE FRIGING HAIR!

LMAO.

Thats the way Clemo, shave the remains. Besides it's heaps cheaper and easier to look after, no shampoo, conditioner or combing required. Always looks neat and you save dough cause if you get a set of clippers you can even cut it yourself. Thats a tick in every box!
