A Sunday bunny hunt was organised with B4eva who elected to do the videoing. The first couple off bunnies were shoulder shots and the blunt proved devasting, vertually rolling them over on the spot. As I recovered my second trophy of the day, I turned around to see a bunny laying not 5 yards away. By the way he was laying I knew all was not well. I walked over and picked him up and noticed that his lower teeth were at least an inch long and grew out of his jaw at a slight left angle. His top teeth curled down and inwards to the left as well. Both myself and Jack had never seen this before and I took some video footage. The animal was in reasonable shape considering his dental work, which would of hindered his ability to eat. Whilst examining him he died in my hands. We continued on our walk with me taking 4 bunnies from 4 shots. THEN THE WHEELS FELL OFF BIG TIME. I will get Jack to post the pics later in the week as he is away. Cheers..........Howie

Nice work Howie,
I have also taken a rabbit with tusk like teeth years ago and have never seen one like it since.

Would be an interesting mount Howie, even if just the boiled out skull.

Seen it on Doctor Harry Howie, apparantly the jaws are missalinged and the bottom teeth do not grind away properly when they are eating,

Howie,
I have got a photo of the actual rabbit it was my first with the bow, but it is just an old photo of me holding it and not a close up of the mouth.
It also had a unquie tail with the black hair in a zig-zag pattern, is the best way I can describe it.
And as I said I have never seen another one like it and I have looked over countless rabbits since then, he was quite unique and I didn't think much of it at the time.
I had that tail on my back quiver for years until it fell apart.:(

Correct Mitch, and it's not that uncommon in domestic rabbits.
