I am buying a new bow late march and at the moment its been the mathews drenalin all the way. but now i'm begining to ask myself, is there a better, smoother, quieter and more comfortable bow out there? I am looking at spending around $1000. What shoots better than the Drenalin?

Many Thanks

The only bow that is smoother and quieter than a Dren is the Dren XT. However if your draw length is 29" or more I would shoot a DXT before purchasing it.
The steep string angle of the DXT causes some people with 29" draw and over dramas with thier peep.
And owning an archery shop I have had occasion to shoot many bows.
Thats just my personal opinion though...

I have been shooting the DXT for the last few weeks, and it is a dream to shoot.
I will let you know if any problems come up with it, but at the moment I couldn't fault it:)

Diamond Marquis and Black Ice come to mind as the equivalent. The quietest shooting bow with the least amount of hand shock I have shot to date is the Bowtech General, but it's draw cycle is not as smooth as the Single Cams.

Heres a comparison between the DXT and the Drenalin. there doesnt seem to be all that much differance in numbers so how is so much better?

I shoot a standard drenalin mate and FAR OUT! It is smoooooooooth!

I would probably reccommend the DXT if you shot more hunting than target because of its size. Being that little bit smaller for harder hunting scenarios. Then again comes personal preferance. Also, i've heard people say that shorter bows can be a little less forgiving.

No complaints about the Drenalin from me except that im getting less and less room in my house from filling it with trophies that ive shot with it :P

Good luck with choosing the right bow mate. If it doesn't feel right, it's not right.

Owned the Ross Cardiac and have the Diamond Marquis at the moment, gotta say they were awesome bows to shoot. Never shot the Drenalin but examined one, fine looking bow as well but didn't like the handle. Ross and Marquis are possibly the smoothest drawing bows I have shot. Put alot of critters on the ground with both bows. Have a look at them out of curiousity. Go with what you think in the end.

get into a shop and shoot a few side by side, its the only way to know whats best for you as everyone has a different opinion. Good luck with it (you`ll end up with a hoyt anyway.lol)
