Getting slick at this hare huntin' thing...

Shot at 30m, down in less than 10m

The following morning I was cruising around and heard a wierd bird call up ahead. I almost laughed at the sound, it was like a coughing/chucking up sound but high pitched (only way I can describe ;) )

I caught movement to my left to see that sound producer, a red-coat, slip away into the undergrowth.
As you do, I put an arrow on the string and squeeked with my lips to perhaps get some reaction. I looked away, grabbed at the nocked arrow to leave the scene when a small pointy head shows itself in the gully beside me!

Cleaned him up with a high lungs shot :)
