The surgical tubing is good but I have had a couple of mates with that type of peep and in the end they all got ride of them, the chance of being hit in the eye if the tube breaks is just to high.
IMO A good normal string peep will do the job well.
I bought some super peep tubing off Luke, i think its surgical rubber tubing, almost 2 years ago off Luke and hav'nt had any problems, and it still looks as good as new.

It's not surgical tubing mate it's SUPER PEEP TUBING (to the rescue)....

Great to hear you're still getting value for money out of it ;)
It really is great stuff, and i recommend it to anyone. Still looks as good as new, and believe me it spends a lot of time out in the weather, sun and rain.

I dont think its worth a slap in the eye. I must have got a dud piece because I have only had it on my bow for a short time and it has already broken twice at full draw.

Resend me your details Brad and I'll send you two more pieces for free.

psehunter- I'm not suggesting there is a problem with the use of peep tubing, but I'm curious to know whether you have tried using a non-tube peep?

I find that non-tube peeps are a hassle to align and once its good, after a couple of shots it starts moving and i end up not being able to see anything.. but i must be doing something wrong maybe.

one tip i learnt with tube peeps, is make the rubber long enough so that the peep only aligns in the last inch or two. If your breaking rubber or scared of a whack in the eye youve got way to much tension on the rubber. You dont need that much tension and it should only swing your peep around in the last inch or so of draw.

Keeping the bow stored out of sunlight and definately not in a car for long periods helps tube life...as does being careful not to apply cleaning products which can perish rubber products...

Thats excellent advice....I used to have mine to damn tight it would actually pull my peep out of line (up the string)!!! Stupid thing to do! Leason learned.
Lukes rubber is excellent, highly recommended!
Tower*2007 hit the nail on the head. The only problem i had with peep tubing was when i had it way too tight. And i have been using the stuff luke sells for over a year and its still going strong.
