Byron Bay

Hi. Does anyone know if there are any ferals around the Byron Bay area (not the hippy feral type) ? I'm heading down there soon, got an area around Coopers Shoot to check out. Thanks for any information.

mate im in lismore at university (near byron). i have been to two clubs in the area and apparently there isnt much to hunt around here besides rabbits in some areas. there are goats out near tenterfield and some pigs further south but not much around here i think.

I have been told that there are no pigs within 200km of Byron. I doubt if that is entirely accurate, but if they are around the area they must be a bit thin on the ground. You would think there would be plenty of small game in the area.

There is a mob of goats that hang around below the light house. Well there used to be. Don't think the whale watchers would be to happy if they saw someone trying to shoot them !
