Trialing Howies Heads!

well howie was a good enough bloke to send me some of his new bunny blunts he invented. when i first saw them they look bloody awsome and had a tuff rugged design i couldnt wait to put one into a bunny so off me and grant went. i found a nice bunny proped up 20m or so away and i settled the 20m pin on its head and released CRACK the bunny did a back flip and just droped did and the arra bounced up another 10 or so meters and landed dead in the grass i went over and inspected the bunny to find i had taken one ear completely off and skined the other and gave him a good smack on the head witch put him down quick

i would highly recomend these heads
and witht he way they are built i dont think you will be braking any eaither so thats good to know
also the stop and pull up in the grass better then judos imo
well done howie i recon these heads will sell well and alot of hunters will be pleased
they also fly exactly the same and shoot consistant out to about 40m with my field points
i will be buying them when they come out for sale howie well done mate'

Ditto.....if your so concerned about being copied....better get the design "registered" and spend a heap on "copy-write" and "trademark" bud....didn't work for "blackstump" as its virtually impossible to stop a design being copied as the slightest modification renders it a "new design" i.e "the mousetrap".....so enough with the "paranoia"... I've got some pesky wabbits to whack !!;);)

Got to say I had a good laugh after reading the replies. Bowhunters certainly have a sense of humour, very well done boys. For those not far behind me in the hair department, treat cautiously, as the old saying goes,

i dont think he is worried about trademarking it. he is just making sure the design if fool proof and works well before releasing it.

howie they fly well, Shot one today at 30mtrs but the shot was abit off, let a good thump and didnt penetrate the back leg area. I think this is good because i have often pulled a gutshot on bunnies having them piss off down the hole, seems with this design it will happen minimal.

More testing on the weekend,

For optimium results - keep the shots to the chest/head regions. It pole axes the vast majority of bunnies. Happy hunting......
