Can anybody tell me who made the "Bush Ranger" Longbow, it's a "Ned Kelly' 70# I'm told it was the first all Australian longbow.

years ago i had a N.K ' 2' longbow i think it was made by Dennis Vince. i dont think he makes bows anymore.

Thanks bps, that name rings a bell I bought the bow back in the early 70's sold it about 10 yr's ago and bought it back last week.

Hi Glenn,
I would have to agree with you.
From memory he did not too many longbows and at one stage produced one or two compounds. He also made some beautiful knives.
I still have a knife that he made in the 70's. Cost $120-00.

Daryl that has jogged my memory, he did make compounds, I remember seeing a couple of his compound bows once. They had the hanger type wheels bolted onto the end of the limbs. Will have to have a look at your knife sometime...Glenn...
