Was interested if anyone has seen one or shot one at all, looking at getting one. I can get them for a fairly good price. Would like to know a little more about them & i would like some first hand experience on them please.

Yep, John G from Canberra has/had one, it looked good and was a real shooter. First blue wooden bow I'd seen :)
Have mates who own them, mainly guys O'sea's.
They are a sweet bow, was tossing up wether to get a GP's take down a while ago myself ;)
Going trad hey mate, if you end up getting one be good to see it up the Cape.
Cheers

Paul,
Yeah looking at getting back into a bit of trad stuff, still got a couple but do not really do them justice. Need to spend a little more time on it to gat back to shooting them worth a damn. One of the blokes i work with has one for sale for real cheap...US$300 so looks like a deal. Have been shooting my long bows more over the last couple of months & really do miss having a play with them. Getting back to what i started with when i first picked up the bow. With be throwing in a few bows this year for the Cape.
Great plains have done a beatifull copy of a kit bow Bingham has been selling for ages . Not running them down at all just a compliment about a beatifull shooting design . A mate of mine made up a Bigham kit - brown action wood riser with a yellow heart strip through the middle , osage orange laminations and clear glass . Then his brother gave it a nice full gloss 2 part epoxy finish - STUNNING LOOKING BOW AND A TOP SHOOTER . regards Perry
Grunter reat Plains are a good bow mate. They have done a very nice job on that one with the cocobolo or is it bacote riser, looks very nice anyway...Glenn...
