We are proud to announce that our mate Howie is now an official site sponsor and as such we have a new competition for you all to enter. The competition will be judged monthly and it will be for the best small game picture, as in Fox, Rabbit, Hare, Cat or Dingo. The winner will receive a twin pack of Howie’s VB heads or a copy of one of his DVD’s. So get your entries to win some of these heads that everyone is boasting about. Good luck and thank you very much to Howie for supporting us.

Here is a Rabbit I whacked on the weekend with a VB. The varmint was shot @ 30m. through the top of the ears as you can see. It is the first one I have ever killed by hitting the ears, the VB hit that hard that it cartwheeled the wabbit and scrambled its thought processor. Top product from a dedicated bowhunter. Well done Howard!

This comp is a continuing one that will have a monthly give away. I would suggest not throwing all your eggs in the one basket as there will be plenty of chances to win in the future. I know you are excited Dan but just try and get your best pic in each month, not a thousand of them.

Out standing small game heads, Have taken 6 hares and 14 rabbits with howies VB's now and can't fault them. I've bounced them off rocks and had too many shots at stumps and the ground to recount without them damaging.
My entry's
A record class fox.

Thwack!
04-04-08, 09:00 PM
A Scotch Predator Caller coaxed this vixen from her warm, dry den amongst a large timber stack and out into the steady rain. And we had been told that foxes don't like wet grass , this one didn't mind the wet but things turned pear shaped for her when she met the BlackStump!

One of the best things about these photo comps, is that you get to look at everybodys photos. Theres some brilliant photos in here. Seeing so many photos of dead animals gives me comfort in the fact that not ALL the arrows miss!!lol
Here is one i missed from 30 yards yesterday afternoon. Whenever i practice, i have no trouble hitting things a lot smaller than foxes from 30 yards, but in the field im crap. I think i just need to settle down and take my time to line the shot up properly.

Great stuff on the cat Rudy, perfect color for a feral cat that one i reckon
I wouldn't have seen him if he wasn't moving, he blended in real good with those rocks.

Great shots fellas. Unfortunatly, my fox isnt dead. I was in the bush setting up my game camera, and took my normal SLR camera instead of the bow. I was all camo'd up incase i saw a deer, but instead snuk up on a fox.
