As far as I'm aware all hunting with-in Canberra is banned, as it's classed as an animale sanctuary. Adam?

There are many rural leases within the ACT, and you are allowed to hunt on those farms as part of a feral animal control plan. And half an hour drive from almost anywhere will see you in NSW and you are good to go on any private property there too of course.

There are heaps of hunting opportunities in the ACT, it just takes a lot of looking to find a place where the farmer hasnÃ*t been pestered out of his mind by guys asking to shoot, or by poachers shooting anyway.

But anyway. How much info do you honestly expect to get here Babs. That is your first post and you are asking for places to hunt :roll: . I wish I had a dollar for every time I have seen that on the Australian hunting forums.

How about you join in a bit and get to know a few of the blokes (and let them get to know you) and you never know your luck, you might get invited to a hunt. :wink:
