what i meant luke is the add says buy a compound get this get that get sights and how exciting it is to shoot with a bow. My youngest son,13got a compound 3 yrs ago i got him all the good stuff and he was out shooting me and he just got board so i found my old 28# long bow, he is still shooting it today . if he wants to go back to compounds he will but for excitement and skill i think trad bows are the way to go . As i am getting older and my elboes are falling apart i will go back to compounds in the future.
