The point is Mr Collins, that one person's definition of "active" may not match another.

I mean, what is the minimum? Is it as simple as signing up and viewing and reading threads to learn? Is it posting a certain minimum number of posts? What would this minimum be? How many per day/week/month/year?...

Different people are members for different reasons. They each use the site for various things. They may feel they are active if they simply keep up to date with what's going on, their time may only permit them this as it could be that they are simply too busy to post. Perhaps others have loads of time and post a lot more. Maybe even in some cases some members with more time have accrued (sp?) more posts than others in a shorter period. I know some who have been members since our first week of existence and yet have been surpassed by others in the post rankings. Does this mean they are not active enough?

If numbers of posts defines active then what defines a post that should be counted towards this total? Is a one liner of "yeah, well done on ya goat mate" good enough?

If people are going to start making comment on inferences drawn from this little "poll" than it needs more than a "post if you're an active member" thread.

As I said in another thread - 3.7+ million hits last month alone with OVER 2000 unique individual visits per day on average. In the small scheme of Aussie bowhunting I think that is active enough as a whole and speaks volumes for the attention this site is getting. :rolleyes:

So, Mr Collins, I care that's why I asked. I thought maybe Dek might answer seeing as he posted the thread, or would you care to have a go?

I thought I would start this Thread after I was informed that this site has 1600 members,
I personally wanted to see how many people still visited this site and from those members, just with a simple sound off would give a general indication to all, and a bit of fun.

Stats and Figures are cool, like number crunching.....

I started this thread today, I think, 30 different members reply is pretty excellent in one day alone.
