Saw my first deer

I went for a hunt today and saw my first four deer the first two were a fallow doe and a fawn and then 10 minutes later I saw two bucks walked into view at about 70m it was awesome I got the biggest adrenalin rush. I just had to tell someone.

And a quick question when does the fallow rut finish

I remember seeing my first deer in the wild like it was just yesterday.

He was the largest most majestic white fallow I've ever seen. Standing there as proud as punch as if he owned all he could see.

It was on the first ever TBGA group hunt.

A rush... you bet! I'll never forget that day.

the rut usually lasts for about a month i think so at the end of april it should be getting close to the end.....i think. someone might back me up

yeah like luke i remember the day i first saw deer. 4 does looking over us half way up a hill.

I took a young fella out with me thisarvo to hopefully get a look at the big buck ive been chasing .We saw about 6 does and heard a tree shaking grunt very close but unfortunatly never actually got a look at him before dark set in.
Was a great hunt even though we went home empty handed and im sure ive aided in the survival of the sport because he is as keen as mustard to get out again!...Damien
