hey there i shoot a martin cheetah comfortably at 55# just wondering whether thats enough poundage to be using on fallow deer/buck?? i shot 2 does when i maxed it out to my limit of 58# and got passthroughs, im hoping to chase some deer and was wondering 50-55# is suitable?

if the arrow is in the right spot, #55 will do the job fine.

Shot my first 9 deer at 54# Jono so it should be sweet.

I shoot 49# would that be enough with shaving hair broad heads and heavy arrows???

Ive been doing some research into the rules of bowhunting deer in victoria, and by law the minimum bow poundage to hunt deer is 50lb.
