G'day all i'm looking at Getting my boys (7 and 8 year olds ) a compound bow to get into bit of 3D and start them out bow hunting preferably complete set up .

I just bought my young fella (he's 3) a Whisper Creek Phantom package.

14-24" d/l
10-29 lbs
comes with a 4 arrow bow quiver
3 glass arrows
a crap containment rest (gunna get a bowtech hostage or similar)
3 pin basic sight
for $255

It seems to be a good buy and really cheap but your kids might be a bit too big for it.

yeah thanks for the reply hutcho i am after something like the micro midas or similar that will last them a couple of years ...
