i have been to some archery shop and asked them if you can just buy the peep attachemnt by its self, without peep tubing and peep sight and they have said you have to buy the it all together. Would any one know where you can get just the peep string attachment.
cheers ashley

Im a little confused mate...my peep only has 2 parts, the platic ring you look through (AKA the Peep) and the rubber tube. What part are you after?

Hope I'm thinking about the same thing you are (the bit that anchors the tubing to the cable), if I'm on the right track, and you can't find where to buy one, try a simple single granny knot with the tubing straight around the cable and bugger the fancy little plastic attachment thingy, that is all I have ever used.
Sorry if I'm talking about something totally different - my 2 cents.

OH right...yeah dude I just use a figure 8 knot and tie the tube directly to the string. So far the tube degrades and breaks far before the knot becomes an issue.

Ash, you could put a small cable tie on it if you want, but the tubing, being elastic, will provide a self tightening granny knot (tie it fairly tight, but don't snap it), mine has never come undone on that end - it does however slip off the post on the peep end every now and then, but that's a different problem.

No knots method.
Cut a small (~3mm) slit through the tube ~10mm from the cable end. Loop the tube around the cable and feed through the slit, attach free end to peep.
