Hey boys here's a bit of footage from Bowgang 2004, our group hunt last year...
it's rather large, 12 mb...but sure worth the wait!

What was th end result of the Boar ? That camo works a treat.

Lost him in some really thick scrub and black berry infested gully! :evil: ...but the blood trail was massive and we heard him go down, just had no way of getting to him...it was very disappointing and frustrating :?

Now that has got to p@#% you off, looked faily sqaure around the nose, should have had some ivory by the looks. You can not win them all. Had the same thing a couple of months ago. Shot a real heavily bodied Boar from around 28 yards with some real nice ivory to match, but he did the bolt and i lost him in some real thick scrub, looked for him for around 3 hours but without any trace of him. The scrub just seamed to have swollowed him. Went back over the next couple of days to the same spot to try and smell him out but to no luck. Had a few choice words to say about that, the shot looked to be on the money. Good footage all the same.

I'll have to invest in a camera like the one you had of you mates on the weekend, its so small and compact it makes taking footage of hunts so much easier.
Yeah, good footage, and sound, it was put together well!
Pity about not recovering him, maybe some of there grass cover deflected the arrow a little from where you though you hit him, IÃ*ve know I sware that I have had just about prefect shots on game and when I recovered its been 3 or 4 inchÃ*s off from where I thought it hit or it could be that it was one of those mystery shots that would have put him down every other time, but as we all know the boarÃ*s have a rep for just being swallowed up by the scrub, as grunter and allot us all know to well. :x

Yes the black berrys on that property can be tricky. He definatly went down for the count but with a football field of thorny bush :evil: .
The afternoon before I took 2 pigs and one I had to go around 40meters into blackberrys, it felt really good on my skin :cry: .
That was one great trip

john got a few goats
mark got his first kill, a goat
Dave got a few rabbits and a goat
Hybris winked at a goat
Tracker killed a damper
I got 2 billys and 5 pigs
Mathew got nude :wink:
We also had plenty of stalks on deer pigs and goats, bloody great trip.
I can't wait to hold or be part of another group hunt.

I had to up load it to the TBGA server and then put a link to it from there...hence the www.thebowhunters.../movies/....
dunno bout photo bucket, think movie files will generally be too big for it :?

doesnt work. Check the permissions to make sure it is accesible to the public or that it is shared.

Luke, top work on putting that together. Man I almost forgot about that footage as it was over a year ago lol. It was good to see it as I haven't been hunting in so long now, it has giving me the bug again!! But dam it sucks reliving not beening able to recover him for a mount...
I'd love to get together again for another group hunt, i'll tey and get on line more often to see what been happening.
Again thanks for the email top work, love the diferent angles on the stalk.
