I have made up 2 dozen carbons ,these are the first carbons ive ever had and i like em:DI got all the brass inserts, points and feathers from John Mcdonald at AMSO archery supplies in Sydney
I just made the brown ones which are carbon express heritage 350's with 100 grain brass inserts and 125 grain heads total 620 grain and i have some with 200 grain heads total 695 grains
the black ones are gt hunter 55\75 i got from Bill at Cairns Archery Store and they weigh 575 grains total with 200 gr heads on em.Bill sent me the wraps and nocks with those aswell.
I got a 3 pack of Howies VB varmint busters to use on some bunnies when I next get a chance. They are of real solid construction in my opinion and im hoping to see what my recurve will do to a rabbit with a vb on the end of the arra:D

Thanks mate yeh it is just too time consuming to make woods and especially when the carbons are just so excellent to shoot.

Got myself a set of Vapor Carbonwoods 4000's , 100grain brass incerts , 125grain steel adapters 160 grain glue on points and will be using up my supply of Davies Delta's and Aztecs with them in the bush , 29" shaft length , total weight 714 grains

Like you Jeffro I am very impressed with them out of my recurve , they even shoot out of my favourite selfbow . I will only be using them for hunting after I have taken something with my primitive gear each hunt . I have gone back to shooting my selfbows and wood arrows bascically as a result of the off the shelf accuracy from recurve and carbon arrows . Dont missunderstand I like carbon arrows , its all trad gear in my book , just a rockape at heart !
