Just wondering is there anyone online has owned a Spot Hogg Seven deadly pin sight?
What do you think of it? is there enough adjustment with the pins to have a spread from 10m to 70m in 10 meter increments?
Also, spot hogg have .009 pins, who has used them? what are your thoughts on how well they work in the bush? I currently have .019 pins and find them great, wondering if there will be much of a difference in a hunting scenario....
thanks in advance for your input

James, used .010 sword pins before, good for long range but hard to pick up in dark conditions. The problem with 7 pins would be the pin gap, on a reasonably fast bow at 10m intervals the pins would be almost touching. I shoot 3D with pins and find that 4 pins is a reasonable balance out to 40m. 7DP seems to be aimed at prairie shooters out to 70yds so may suit your purposes, .010 pins if you are in the light.

The smaller pins are great for longer shots, but arent the best in low light conditions. Buy the optional pin guard and led light.
I shoot a 70lb bow, the top pin starts at 20yd and the rest go all the way out to 80yd.

this is an alternative, brighter, just as rugged and wayyyy cheaper than the spot hogg ;)

you have to get the supreme model for the 019 pins, the tru glo may be your best bet for 019 pins http://www.archeryshop.com.au/p/375407/truglo-xtreme-micro-5-pin-019.html

Ive got the copper john 6 pin supreme with the .019 pins. Its a brilliant sight but over here they are pretty expensive, i think around $225.
I have had a few different sight and now have a spot hogg Hogg-It Hunter. This is one of the best built sights around. They cost a bit more but you get what you pay for.
If you go for the Spot Hogg get it with the wrap kit.
