When figuring out what spine arrow to get using the easton guide do you take into account the insert weight? So if im using 125g heads + 16g insert, total point weight 141g or is it just the tip weight you have to worry about?

I have found the gold tip site really good for foc calculators ect.. Above is a spine chart thats good also. You find most of the arrow manufactures have these on there sites.

Don't rely too much on what those charts say.

They where formulated about 15 to 20 years ago, with the aggressiveness of todays cams I would suggest you go to the next stiffer spine than what the charts say.

For instance the GT 5575 are a 400 spine arrow and definately no good for a 70lb, 29" or longer draw but their charts say they will be fine.

Russell it says on the goldtip chart 66-70# bow, 27" to 29" long arrow with 125gr point should use 7595 .340 spine.
