Don't forget the one that was found in the front yard of the people that live at camphill in brisbane. It even made the paper with a photo, I have seen these deer many times as i live in the next suburb over and they have been living in the bush that is starts about 500m behind my place for about 20 years, There is also a herd of russa living at in bush areas at the back of wacol through to jindalee. And so big groups of red deer living at brisbane forest park also

Do we count antelope as well or are they a seperate category??
I know a bloke who stalked a dead buck a while ago, does that count for one or a minus one??
Ive seen a nice fallow buck with a doe on one of my old clients front yards at Pullenvale/Chapel hill area in Brisbane. So thats 28 fallow and 2 sambar now :P
I can tell you that in 1980 there where fewer than 50,000 deer in australia and approximately 170,000 in 2004.
