check out local army surplus stores, they sell generic throwers, at least in perth they do.

If you buy online from a store make sure they are in Australia as it is a prohibited item and requires a permit.

Good luck

Or if you want to shell out the $ for a 'real' item, Granfors Bruks make a beauty.

About $319 from atraes.com.au , not cheap hey? I have a Gransfors Bruks wildlife hatchet and it is the best hatchet or small axe I have ever used bar none. Chops like an axe twice it's size.

Mate Cold steel make a couple of nice little throwing Hawks that you can buy delivered for under $50. I bought one a couple of years ago on Aust ebay for $35 delivered to my door. I use it as a general camp tool and it's a little beauty. Do a search under cold steel, there's plenty out there.

you could make your own like i did... it's not flash but it works. And it cost me nothing coz i just used a few old scraps from around the house

make sure they are already in Australia, or you'll have a six week to three months wait on a permit, assuming you get it of course
