is any one willing to give up there secrets on making flemish strings. i've tried links from previous treads but cant get into them. any tips would be cool . thanks ed
There is no mystery in making flemish strings it is really simple , trouble is its easier to work out if you are watching someone rather than to try to describe the process over the internet . Anyone willing to share in your district .
Try tradgang.com/rob/ta/flemish . Also you can get a reasonable picture of the jig most people use from the 3 rivers catalogue. They also sell books and video's that descibe the process better than I could in writing . PM me if you have no luck and I will try to post an image of my jig and try to describe it breifly and concisely .
regards Perry
Perry is right ED, very hard to make one from instructions but very simple when you see one made or someone takes through the steps to make your own. A simple jig makes the whole thing very easy...Glenn...
