I think i have found my next bow:D the tribute looks and sounds like a great bow, but there is only one thing holding me back from buying one, its a bowtech and they are known to get split limbs:(. what are the pros and cons of this bow. do you own one or have ever shot one? heard anything good or bad about it? i need all the info i can get so any help would be awesome. also how much is a second hand hoyt vectrix these days? its in fairly good condition and has a 26'' draw length, i would need to sell that before i get the tribute.

thanks dan.

Dan,
The tribute is amongst the best they built so of course they discontinued it for 08.
I hope you find a good second hand one as they are well worth it.

mate i have been using one for the last year and have taken goats, deer, pigs, scrub bulls, camels, donkeys, brumbies and rabbits with it. I can't fault it. And even if your limbs are to play up, there is a life time garruntee on them so a new set of limbs is only a week away. IMO you cant go wrong.

Its unlikely you will have ANY limbs issues with any Tribute unless you dry fire it or constantly shoot underspined or below the 5 grain/pound minimum weight of arrow.

The Tribute is Bow-tech most reliable model ever mate it wont let you down, and as Macka said warranty is also top notch.
