Hi guys...Ive been chasing some large bucks around the paddock lately, and im told their probably red deer....Very large, not to scared of me and the antlers are huge, going straight upward and more of a flat blade style rather than the normal horn/point style..Chocolate brown or two tone grey and really big when you meet them at ground level...They are currently courting a mixture of red does and smaller brown with white chest and spots(maybe chital?)...Id like to know what breeds they most likely are to be sure they are in season before getting serious...;)

"Flat blade style" - sounds like fallow to me, especially coupled with the white spots.

Have a look in the hunting section and there are plenty of guys posing with red and fallow bucks. That should answer your questions and good luck chasing them round.........
