This is way off subject, but i feel the need to share some advice...
If putting your wife or daughter into a cab, espec after dark...make sure to inspect the drivers ID..And make sure he see's you do it....and seat them in the rear seat.....my family has been devistated lately, and without going into detail..Id hate to have any off you go thru this....theres a lot of cabbies who regard females as 'meat'.

They regard our children, and stuff as meat,
But when they get bashed its a different story :o
We dont rant and rave and take our tops off and protest in the city about it...

This sort of stuff makes me so mad. I would want to deport him from this world if it was my daughter/wife.

I would happily deport him from this world no matter whose wife and daughter it was...

This sort of stuff makes me so mad. I would want to deport him from this world if it was my daughter/wife.I told the prosecutor to put him away or i would:mad:....the security is a bit much now..esp as one of my biker bro's wandered in on a hearing....its video link or 2" bullet proof glass between me and him at all times....but he'll have heaps of friends once in open population..even a couple of screws cant wait to meet him;)..........theres a task force still underway, and if you knew how often this is happening(info suppressed) you would never ride in a cab again:eek:

Mate, my heart goes out to you and your family. I hope the bastard gets what he deserves.
I live in Wangaratta, and drove taxi's for a short while. Wasnt scared of being abused, just scared of someone throwing up in my taxi!!lol
Luckily wang has no problems like because its not quite big enough.
Albury/wodonga just up the road is a different story though. Theres my and more crime creeping in up there.
Once again special, im sorry to hear of your situation.

I have to say I feel strongly aggrieved by the bits and pieces I've picked up on reading this thread and I hope the alleged perpetrator gets what is coming to him.

As Admin though I do have to question the appropriateness of some of the discussion. I think that the good intention behind the advice Special has given is fantastic and that passing it on and looking out for fellow bowhunters and their families is a very noble idea. I'm just not sure that the discussion needs to go further in light of some comments I feel unsuitable for public airing on a bowhunting forum.

I extend my personal sympathies and support to you and your daughter Special and am very sorry to hear of the trauma and upset that she must be going through.

I do request that the thread not be taken further though as I feel it's initial good intention has been achieved.

Should there be any one who wishes to discuss the matter further please do so via PM.

Thanks.

Luke
