Safari Auction

I've run this past Admin and they are happy to give this a run....If it is sucessful I would be happy to run a Safari Auction each year to help out with costs towards keeping the site running.

So here goes:-

You are bidding for a 5 day Chital Safari from Townsville. The Safari is for one person. The lucky winner will only have to get to Townsville for the trip. You will be hunting with me for the five days. The safari will run from the Sunday to the following Saturday....The winner can pick his or her week but must be in the first 6 months of next year....

Rules are that there is a reserve price and that price is only to cover costs I will provide my own time to guide. Any funds raised over the reserve will go to the Site Admin for running purposes.

When the reserve is reached the Auction will become live and we will notify when that happens.

As a guide the Safari is worth $3300-00.

Auction will run until 30th Sept if reserve is not met by then we will allow a further week of bidding and if still not reached we will have to cancel.

I would love to bid, but seein as I'm going off to Bowcomp in Oct, my wallet's already crying out for mercy...

I would however like to take this opportunity to thank Mick on behalf of Admin for this extremely generous offer! :D It is so great to have blokes like you Mick who are keen to put back into hunting and into this site! What's also amazing is that there are so many other blokes on here like you! With this sort of support from you fellas, we're sure to have this site as a wonderful resource for a long time to come!

Just an update on the bidding...As with all Auctions there are some Auctioneers bids held...So if I offer the courtesy to one bidder I must offer it to all bidders.

I will accept silent bids from people who have already bidded on the auction. The bid will not be disclosed unless the silent bid is passed and I will post that bid so that the silent bidder knows he has been passed.

He then can bid again if he or she wishes...

Hope this is clear as I do not want any controversy as I would love to make this a annual event and maybe offer different hunts each year.
