guys, what would you consider to be the minnimum arrow weight for deer? (fallow rusa red) .Bow weight around 70# 2 blade heads.
cheers
Get your arrow bits n peices (shaft, broadhead etc), put em together, and go kill a deer :)
As long as you ain't purposfully aiming for a light arrow, most carbons with the regular 125 grain odd head will come in around the 400-450 grain mark, plenty out of a 70# wheelie bow for deer.
(That said, I use a heavy arrow weight. Strong as they come, designed to destroy bone, tussue, anything pretty much. I feel totally satisfied with this for all the game I hunt, especially when shots go (as they do plenty on deer etc) not in perfect angles.)
So therefore I look at it not from a minimum, but what is more than enough arrow weight.
Like I said, a regualar weight carbon will kill when shot in the right spot :)
What Rory said, plus make sure your gear and you are tuned perfectly and can make the shot at your hunting distances.

My arrows are around the 400 mark maybe a bit under.
3 Blade 100 gr. Muzzys.
60 lb bow.
The Red and Fallow I have stuck have gone less 100 yards.
Shot placement and a wicked sharp broadhead in my opinion are more important than a heavy arrow.
With proper shot placement you shouldnt hit any bone...
