New compound bow

Guys,

I am looking at a compound bow now seeing that i plan to visit friends in Noosa and it will be easier to take a bow and not a crossbow with me, as well as my recurve. What do you guys shoot, is the fastest the best, i have seen info on the bowtech 82nd airborne, pse x force and APA black mamba, all very fast bows but how do they shoot. I havent shot a compound in a while and the last one i owned shot around 230 to 240 fps. Any help guys please.

The Bowtech 82nd is a very nice shooting bow, very smooooooth and very fast. Also have a look at the Hoyt Katera.

Most are between 300 to 350 fps....PSE X FORCE has huge punch and is also good for target;)

Ditto on he X-Force, however, as you haven't used a compound for a while, are you sure you want a "speed" bow. By their very nature they are very form specific and "unforgiving". There are plenty of others, a few in the classifieds in this forum that may be better suited to you. Why not try as many as you can and then decide, don't base your choice merely on the IBO as "a fast miss is still a miss"....good luck..:D
