welcome mate.
G'day Conor,
welcome to the site mate.
There are a few members on here from Toowoomba, in fact I grew up out the other side of Dalby myself so not too far from you. (I'm in Shanghai, China now though ;) ).
There is plenty of info on here if you do a few searches about hunting around your area of the state.
Best bet is to get down to your local ABA (Australian Bowhunters Association) or 3DAAA (3D Archery Association of Australia) clubs and learn all you can. Get some instruction and advice and see if some of the members there will help you out.
As I said there are members on here from Toowoomba and they are all very generous blokes. If you play your cards right some of them may well take you under their wing to help you out.
Best of luck mate.
cheers,
Luke :D
PS, please try to avoid the use of "sms/msn" type writing on here, it doesn't paint a good picture of your intellect and really only serves to annoy people ;)

As Luke said mate, best bet is to get to the local clubs of ABA or alike. The Toowoomba club is out behind the dump, not a bad place to start. As for learning more about the deer around Toowoomba area, drop in & see Peter Luhrs at the Open Range gun shop in Station Street, he will point you in the right direction for ADA. Or send us a PM mate & i might be able to point you in the right direction towards clubs etc.
