Hey all you bowhunters out there, this is my first post so i hope it works :) .
Well it all started last tuesday 13th. It was about lunch time and i spent most of the morning trying to decide weather or not I'd got for a hunt or not, so while i was sitting there playin with my bow i remembered the advertisement that's on this site "Bowhunting...just get out there" thats probobly what got me motivated to go.
Anyway after loading all my gear into the car ( couldn't take the quad cos the river crossing's flooded ) I started to drive to my destination which is about 8k's down the road on another part of the property. Apon getting there and parking my car on the side of the road in the paddock I spotted a groupe of goats about 30 strong scatered over the foot hills below Round mountain ( the name of one of the mountain's on our property ), so I started to make my way through the paddock. After making my way half way to them i stoped on the bank of one of the dams in the paddock observing the goats through my bino's.
( this is a photo of some of them)

After looking at them for about 5 min I moved back down behind the dam wall and stood up to see which way the wind was going, the wind was blowing from my right side so i figured that i couldn't cross over the paddock because they would smell me so i continued to my left down the fence line. after getting to the other end of the paddock I stopped again to take a few more photo's and to have another look with my bino's.
This is what I saw

Anyway after stalking down the fence i say the goat that i came to get ( the goat i saw chalange the leader one day ) so i started to slow down a bit and take my time.
This is the goat i was stalking he's not to bad. :D
