Picked up My New Bow Today

I picked up my new Hoyt Katera today at lunch time. Then had to wait all afternoon to get it home and put all the gear on.

By the time I had it all setup to get initial sightings it was too late to shoot, but very happy all the same.

Managed to get a few ends in after work before dark. I am extremley with the bow. It has a little more hand shock than the Bowtech 82nd (I had a shoot of one at Archery Supplies Canberra), but found it to be just as quiet. Compared to My UltraElite it is very unforgiving, but damn fast and a lot more exciting to shoot.

It is very strong construction and I think with a bit of care will easily get 10 years and more out of this bow.

Also compared to both the 82nd and the UltraElite, it is a heavy bow, for me I like that as I find it easier to hold a heavy bow steady.
