g'day guy's and gal's.

im was just wondering what all of your favourite game to hunt is.

i have only hunted the humble bunny, but i dont think i would pass a chance to go on a hunt for them. they are a great challenge and a greatway to start your bowhunting career and can teach you heaps about stalking and trying to find a small target on an animal.

so what do you like to hunt?

If I could hunt only one animal it would be Pigs. Love calling in Foxes too, they are great fun.

Anything dangerous with Lemmiwinks - cause he has a dodgy knee so i can always run faster than him =)

Seriously, I get a kick out of taking down a big dominant animal with an arrow. Love the pure strength shown by a big parading stag in full rut, a big lone boar trotting between water, a scrubber kicking up dust, a buff looking down his nose towards that wierd smell.

Big stuff! :)

A guy (Brother In-law) once asked me if I had ever hunted Hippopotamus in the Northern Territory.
I told him no, but if you hear of a guided hunt, let me know!:P

You can’t pick your family!

Gotta be goats,i pretty much only shoot goats, spend thousands of dollars a year trying to find goat country that hasnt been harrassed to much.I pass up quit a few pigs while looking for goats as well, have dogged thousands of good boars so they dont interest me much.steve

Me and my mate made a pact that we would never hunt deer. They just seem to much of a distinguished and happy animal to hunt for sport. Not that I expect people to stop, just personally I think they are off limits. They are no way near as damaging as rabbits and foxes. I believe the biggest damage deer do is to farmers stock right? Rabbits. pig and foxes kill native Australian animals and severely damage their habitat and soil erosion etc, so we limit our hunts to them. Oh and goats, they are asses too.

I love chasing rabbits, they're pretty toey around here and are really tough to hunt at the moment, i enjoy calling in foxes and hares, the action can be fast and the shots can be really close, goats are always good, but we dont have many around here, i also love hunting hogs when i get the chance. To sum it up, i reckon its great being out the bush no matter what i'm chasing.

i found goats to be great fun to hunt, lots of hard walking and exploring the bush in the flinders

I like to hunt pigs the most because they are so hard to find in my area so it’s rewarding when you get one.

Oh and goats, they are asses too.You obviously havent seen the damage Deer do to farm fences....one property i hunt no longer keeps any stock(cattle),...due to the fact that as soon as the fences are fixed...nearly every day...they are destroyed by deer....around here Deer are the main pest to farmers...rabbits and foxes cause very little drama...Deer will send you broke!

At the moment I would be happy to hunt anything. I would even be happy chasing bunnies. Of course my dream hunt would be any deer, next would have to be goats.

Would have to go with scatter shot. Cats are way up there. Only ever had a few shots at them after coming onto them by chance. Also pigs are the other big one. Nothing beats a big bodied boar (that ive hunted anyways). Goats arent too much of a challenge, ive walked up to a mob, no effort to stalk with them watching me, and have them just stand there when i was only 30m away. not worth the effort of a shot...
