Something a little different from what's your favorite animal, bow, colour......
Over the many years I have hunted, my mates and I have had some great camp spots, from the flat areas of western Queensland right through to the Vic' Highcountry.
This one has to be one of my favorites. It is my mates Shannon and Micks spot. This is where they base our Easter Fallow hunt. The Bar B was supplied by Mick and is a permanent resident, so is the 60lt water heating drum that you cannot see. The photos show camp nearly packed, there is usually a tarp set up with a number of swags under it. The dart board entertains us when not hunting, this is very interesting at night when the boys have had too many Jimmys and the only light you have is from your own headlamp :D.
The creek runs all year round and is suitable for drinking. It comes in very handy for washing your hands after dressing a deer. The tree with the carcass in it has had many hanging from it, it also serves as a stashing place for antlers until we go home. This year it had Micks 227 DP antlers well and truly lashed to it :D.
This is an overall view looking south, notice the Deer tree.

We really rough it in the cooking department, it's ready to go 24/7!

This is private property and as a group we are very lucky to have access to it. When we leave, the joint is spotless, so we don't have any trouble going back next time. Forgive me for not showing the skyline, I don't want to give anything away ;).
